Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Guwahati offers some short time course with hands on practice. Craftsmanship certificate course in food & beverage service is a 6 month course and minimum qualifications required is only class 10 passed, craftsmanship course in food production & patisserie is a one and half year course after class 10. Few very short term courses on food production, bakery & patisserie and f&b service are also provided for class 8 pass students.
