Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS) is India’s training and research establishment located in the north-eastern state of Mizoram. In this school, Indian Army offers training in unconventional warfare, especially counter-insurgency and guerrilla warfare. CIJWS is one of the premier counter-insurgency training institutions in the world. Apart from Indian Army, Army from different country also avail this facility. The motto of the school is to “fight the guerrilla like a guerrilla”.
